An excursion for all your senses


There are more things to love about Brunnen than just it’s location by Lake Lucerne. From June to mid-September, there is something for all ages and interests in the charming village, including; Swiss traditions, tours, concerts and even Stand Up Paddling. And guess what, it’s all for free!


Every Monday visitors will be treated to a Swiss affair, as the local folks group get dressed up and put on a display of traditional events. Here you can listen to the majestic alphorn or see the local folk dancers frolic to traditional music. On Tuesdays, visitors can take on the large musical instrument, as they learn to master the Alphorn themselves. And on Wednesdays, the local Alphorn blowers are accompanied by the local flag throwers. Here you can test your flag-throwing skills, with a lesson from the local experts.

Guided Tours

Discover the local history, stroll along the promenade and learn about the beautiful sights of Brunnen, as you take in the views of Lake Lucerne and the mystical mountain scenery. Running every Tuesday.

Lake-side Concerts

Concerts at the Waldstätterquai in Brunnen are an ideal setting to appreciate the balmy summer days. Every Sunday evening, music concerts of varying genres will be available along the promenade. The mountain reflections on Lake Lucerne are sure to make this a relaxing and comfortable Sunday evening.

Stand Up Paddeling

Want to try something new this summer? Then try out Brunnen’s latest experience, Stand Up Paddling. The free taster courses will take place every Thursday. All you need to do is bring your bathing suit, as equipment and professional on-site advisers are available free of charge.
