In the summer and autumn months, the Sahli-Glattalp aerial cableway takes you up to Glattalp at over 1850 metres above sea level. The aerial cableway is a power cableway operated by ebs Energie AG, which is also used for tourists. Experts regularly check it for safety. The cable car consists of one cabin and can transport a maximum of 8 people per ride. A return trip takes 15 minutes.

In winter, Glattalp makes a name for itself as one of the coldest places in Switzerland with freezing temperatures. But after the snow melts in spring, a colourful plant world awakens in the mountain summer.
