The machine-prepared toboggan run leads over 2.3 km in length and 360 metres in altitude from the top station of the Illgau-St. Karl cable car down to the village.

It is also recommended to try out the handmade ski racks, which can be rented at the valley station. The trail is prepared daily in good snow and weather conditions. Sledges or Skibock(Gemel) can be rented at the valley station (Fr. 8.- per sledge or Skibock / depot Fr. 20.-)

Good to know

Parking: Please use the free parking spaces at the valley station. Further free public parking spaces are located below the church. From there it is about 200 meters on foot in an easterly direction to the valley station of the Illgau - St.Karl cable car.
Arrival / Return journey: From Schwyz you drive in the direction of Muotathal. After Schlattli turn left to Illgau and in a few minutes you will reach Illgau.
Accessible by bus and train: Yes
Public transport: By train you go to Schwyz, train station and change there to bus line no. 501 direction Muotathal. Get off at the Illgau cable car stop and take the Ried - Illgau cable car, which will take you to the village of Illgau, where you walk about 200 metres eastwards to the valley station of the Illgau - St. Karl cable car.
