In Morschach there are many chapels to discover in addition to the beautiful church. You can follow the chapels in Morschach on a signposted walking tour. You start at the information pavilion in the centre of the village, then walk in order to the places: parish church, Lourdes grotto, St. Francis chapel, Marienkapelle, Mattli Antoniushaus, Waldpark.

The trail is accessible all year round.

Arrival / Return journey

Coming from Basel-Lucerne:

Continue on the A14 from Lucerne in the direction of Zug. After 20 km, you come to the Rütihof intersection. There, you take the A4 motorway in the direction of Schwyz. At Brunnen, the motorway reduces to a two-lane highway. Stay on this route in the direction of Gotthard / Morschach. 500 metres after the 1.1 km-long Mosi Tunnel, turn left off of the highway in the direction of Morschach.

Coming from Lake Constance and Rapperswil:

At Rapperswil, drive in the direction of Pfäffikon / Gotthard. At Pfäffikon, drive a short distance on the A3 motorway in the direction of Gotthard. Then take the first exit in the direction of Gotthard / Schwyz. The road will take you to Schwyz via Rothenthurm and Sattel. At Schwyz, take the T8 bypass and continue on the A4 motorway in the direction of Gotthard / Brunnen. At Brunnen, the motorway reduces to a two-lane highway. Stay on this route in the direction of Gotthard / Morschach. 500 metres after the 1.1 km-long Mosi Tunnel, turn left off of the highway in the direction of the Morschach.

 Coming from Gotthard-Altdorf:

Take the bypass (tunnel) in Flüelen in the direction of Schwyz. 500 m before Brunnen, turn right in the direction of Morschach.
